21 Signs To Tell If Your Life Is A Soap Opera.

I love soap operas. There is something about watching a show that revolves around secrets, lies, split personalities, and love triangles that makes me giggle with delight. I’ve often wondered what it would be like to live in a soap opera. In that regard, I have composed a list of 21 signs to tell if your life is a soap opera.

1. You’ve had brain surgery but are out of the hospital in less than a week.

2. You’ve faked your death and/or returned from being dead.

3. You’ve had amnesia.

4. You’ve faked your death and/or returned from the dead but can’t remember who you are because you have amnesia.

5. You have a long lost sibling.

6. You have a long lost sibling that you thought was dead but has come back to life.

7. You’ve been kidnapped by your long lost sibling that you thought was dead but has come back to life.

8. You’ve been kidnapped by your long lost sibling that you thought was dead but has come back to life but no one knows because your sibling had plastic surgery to look exactly like you.

9. You’ve been in a coma but after waking up you are out of the hospital in less than a week.

10. You’ve been married more than 5 times but only to 2 different people.

11. The child you gave up for adoption comes to town to ruin your life.

12. The child you thought was dead comes to town to ruin your life.

13. The child you didn’t know you had comes to town to ruin your life.

14. Your doctor, lawyer, mob enforcer, barista, pretty much anyone that you know, is a hottie.

15. You’ve had a paternity test switched.

16. You’ve had an organ transplant and are out of the hospital in less than a week.

17. Your wedding has been interrupted by an ex, that you may or may not have thought was dead.

18. Your wedding has been interrupted by someone revealing the results of a paternity test.

19. Your wedding has been interrupted by the knowledge that the person you are marrying is an imposter (see number 8).

20. You send your child to boarding school and they return 10 months later having aged 7 years and you don’t notice.

21. Need a job? Not to worry. Nepotism and cronyism are alive and well and you too can be the owner/manager of a hotel, the president of a music label, or the owner of a newspaper, without having any experience.
